U of U Interdepartmental Program in Neuroscience graduate students have brought Brain Awareness Week to the Wasatch Front every March since 1997 to elevate public awareness about the benefits of brain research.
The Lending Library collection of neuroscience models, posters, DVDs, and more is freely available to any educator or volunteer in the Salt Lake City metro area.
The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is the world's largest organization of scientists and physicians devoted to advancing understanding of the brain and nervous system, with over 100 chapters worldwide. The Intermountain Chapter has 180 members throughout Utah.
